On May 16 2021, KC Ecell graciously hosted “Get started with Git and GitHub'' streamed on youtube. Git and github may be challenging to use for a newbie. However, the featured speaker, Bhaktij Koli, a freelancer and Full Stack developer with excellent communication skills, inspired many students by making the process simple. He presented an excellent introduction and demonstration of how to use Git and GitHub.

He covered everything from creating a profile to collaborating on Github. He covered every detail of github, including how to maintain track of project history. He also underlined the role of learning github in our professional lives. Students learned how to engage with developers and contribute to open source projects.
